A big day of changes. A new comment composer, a much calmer screenshot countdown, a proper 404 page, and a round of Jira integration polish.
✦ New comment composer
Leaving comments feels more like using a chat app now. The attach icon lives inside the input, the send button is a small rounded icon, and you can write multi-line comments — press Enter for a new line and Cmd+Enter (Mac) or Ctrl+Enter (Windows) to send. Your line breaks are preserved in the comment. Dark mode looks right too.
✦ The screenshot countdown stops blocking the page
Taking a visible-area or full-page screenshot used to drop a dark overlay over the whole page during the countdown, so you couldn't scroll, hover over anything, or click a menu to get it ready. That overlay is gone. The countdown now shows up as a small timer in the top-right corner — and you can drag it anywhere on screen if it's in the way. You can keep interacting with the page right up until the shot is taken.
✦ Proper 404 page when a check doesn't exist
Opening a link to a check that's been deleted used to leave you staring at a blank or stuck page. You now see a clean "not found" page so it's obvious what happened.
✦ Jira integration polish
A round of refinements across Jira task creation and the settings where you configure it. Smoother end-to-end.
Bug fixes
- Public share links that were 404'ing now work. Sharing works again across all environments.
- Video timestamps on comments only show up when they actually make sense — no more empty 0:00 chips on screenshot checks.
- Fixed a glitch in the Actions list where items could flash or stick around when updating.
- Taking two screenshots back-to-back no longer loses one of them.
- The extension handles being reloaded or updated cleanly — no more error spam.
